ZAPU wishes Zimbabwe happy Easter Holidays

Zapu has wished the citizens a peace full and accident free Easter holiday as its starts today (Friday).
Party spokesperson Iphithule Maphosa said as the nation commemorate the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, let people be reminded he laid down his life for us so we could be redeemed from our sinful ways.
"As we celebrate his rising from the dead on Easter Sunday, let us be assured of sin free life after our Lord and savior concurred both sin and death. Just like our Lord Jesus Christ not only sacrificed his Life, but was also persecuted and killed by his own, Zapu sacrificed many lives during Zimbabwe's Liberation Struggle that brought about the country's Independence. Zapu was also persecuted during the 1980s with so much blood being spilled," he said.
"The Revolutionary party, in the same manner the sinful world did to Christ our Lord, was annihilated for standing for what was best for this country. We however take comfort in the great resurrection of the mother party in 2008, just like Christ did, and our hopes have been reignited as to a better life for all Zimbabweans, a life free of poverty, unemployment, cash shortages, corruption, tribalism, nepotism, racism."
He said in a nutshell, Zapu will deliver a Zimbabwe where all citizens are equal and whose rights are observed, promoted and protected.
"As we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Zapu is cognizant of the dilapidated state of our roads, which have become a death trap to our Citizens. We therefore urge all road users to exercise extreme caution when using the pot hole infested roads, as well as not to drink and drive," he said.
"Zapu also calls on our downtrodden citizens to deeply introspect our collective lives under the Zanu PF regime and take a decision to renew as we commemorate the resurrection of Christ on Sunday. Let us repossess our lives from the biblical thief that is Zanu PF. Through Christ it is possible and can be done. We wish all citizens of Zimbabwe a happy Easter holiday."
