Three traffic cops nabbed over $10

Three traffic police officers were arrested today after being found with $10 surplus money suspected to have been corruptly obtained from motorists 33 kilometers away from Gweru.
According to an internal Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) memo seen by Bulawayo24.com three constables Mafigu, Chipunza and Charles were booked out at Montel turn-off, which is 33km from Shurugwi on traffic enforcement stop.
The trio's shenanigans were discovered by a team from Police General Head Quarters (PGHQ) who found the team leader Mafigo with five $2 notes in his pocket.
The $10 was not declared in their roadblock OB stop leading to their arrest. They are currently detained at Shurugwi police station assisting with investigations.
