"Circumstances are that today around 06:00 hours three traffic cops from Nyanga national traffic currently based at Ruda post proceeded to Bawu turn off for traffic enforcement duties.
"The trio declared nil cash in their books and unfortunately when the internal investigations team arrived Teketayi tried to run away and removed $18 from his riot trousers and threw it in the nearby bushes but he could not go far before being apprehended.
"When the investigating officers cross checked their books they found $125 had been receipted and they was a shortfall of $15. After being questioned the other officers indicated Teketayi had the shortfall. He was found with an extra $3 resulting in his arrest," said the source.
