Man steals from Bakers Inn van

A 27-year-old Guruve man was slapped with $100 fine for stealing a bakery delivery van battery.
It emerged that Prince Dzinza (27) stole a battery from a Bakers Inn van at Guruve growth point leaving the deliverers stranded on 26 September 2016.
According to public prosecutor Spiwe Makarichi the battery was then recovered by police at a date not mentioned in court resulting in the arrest of Dzinza.
Dzinza pleaded guilty to the theft charge and was slapped with $100 fine failure to pay would earn him a custodial sentence of 30 days.
An additional six months charge was suspended by Guruve magistrate Mr Artwel Sanyatwe on condition that the accused does not commit a similar offense in the next 5 years.
