The ZimFirst leader Maxwell Shumba is hopeful that his political outfit will get impressive votes in the 2018 elections.

"Decision 2018- There Are Enough Votes To Go Around.-Retiring The Vote Splitting Argument- Only supporters of lazy political parties devoid of a vision are afraid of new entrant political parties. Afraid of losing in the subsequent competition, they are always complaining ad nauseam about vote splitting . Vote splitting talk can only be relevant in the wee hours (final months) of the campaign calendar when every party 's strength can be assessed and their political net worth on Election Day is apparent and is deemed not inspiring. It's too early to assess political net worth," Shumba said.

"At the moment there are clearly two buckets emerging that are opposite political poles. Voters can move j to either one. The buckets: THE TAINTED, MORE OF THE SAME and THE UNTAINTED. FRESH LEGS, FESH IDEAS. This is what Decision 2018!is all about. The colors of the available choices are starkly different. The messages from the two buckets are unmistakably different too. Fresh legs, fresh ideas versus Chete Chete. The debate on this wall is proving the existence of these two buckets is evident on my wall."

He said old parties need to understand that politics is a game of winners and losers and every entrant onto the political scene does so to win with any of the votes available. He said if they lose this election there is nothing to stop them from winning the next.

"As ZimFirst we are not here to help any other entity to win it at the expense of our vision . We will bring our A- game into Decision 2018. OUR VISION IS SOLID and we are proud of it. WE ARE UNTAINTED no matter how much dirt is thrown at us, it will not stick because we are clean walls. We know who our constituency is. There areas where we can cordially work together with others as a coalition, CODE and NERA for example but there are areas where we are the experts of the matters that we expound in our manifesto," he said.

"Coming to Voters: There are potentially 8 million voters in Zimbabwe . The bucket of the tainted in which Zanu PF fall into together with the old parties has perennially garnered close to 3 million votes. There are 5 million votes who are waiting for the right message to excite them into participating in elections. There are 5 million votes who are looking for quality and substantiation change. Not changes only carried in slogan. Those are our targets. The 5 million votes who have sat out perennially in past elections. So you have it-the 3 million which has voted for the old parties can still do so in 2018 without worrying about us. We are selling our manifesto, with success too, to the new and old blood that has seen no reason to put tainted folks in office."

He said out of the potentially 8 million they can still win without ever splitting the 3 million votes in the other already existing buckets.

"There are enough votes to go around. We are unique- our campaign method is unique and our message is unique and we are confident our campaign strategy and also confident that we will be part of a real and genuine people's coalition of the untainted. In CODE we believe! There are enough votes to go around in 2018. In particular,. Let's compete!" he said.
