Life in Zimbabwe has turned so difficult- Fuzwayo

A human Rights activist and politician Bekezela Fuzwayo has said life in Zimbabwe has become unbearably difficult.
He said he was at The Holiday Inn in Harare recently and as per his norm always go out across the road to buy myself a Pizza at the Innscor Fast
Foods Complex across the hotel.
"As I was getting into the complex three young girls approached me and one of them demands that I give her $10 otherwise she would scream and tell everyone that I slept with her in my car a few days ago and sped off without paying for the service," he said.
"Before I could even reply in my shock the other two joined in and said they will embarrass me and confirm that they were witnesses to the incident. As I tried to resist they raised their voices and started pushing me beginning to attract attention from other people in the food court. I got angry and thought of slapping them but quickly realised that they had nothing to lose and in the end I was to emerge the loser."
"To serve the situation I dipped into my pocket and pulled out a $5 Bond Note and gave it to them before they rushed away celebrating their easy
money," he added.
He said what struck him was that the young boys and petrol attendants at the filling station courtyard outside the food court burst out laughing as
the girls ran away which told him that they were aware of what was
happening to him meaning that its an ongoing act which they see happen
everyday and do nothing about.
"I approached the security guard at the complex and told him of my ordeal
and he said there was nothing they could do as the incident was outside
their shop and this was right by their doorstep hardly two metres outside
the door and everyone inside the shop could see and hear what was
transpiring. I have every reason to believe the guard was also aware of
what was happening to me and opted to turn a blind eye to it," he said.
"This is just how low our country has degenerated to be because of the
harsh economic environment. I just want to warn other people who may fall
victims to these young girls to be vigilant and refuse to go the way I did.
I was caught unaware but for you friends fore warned is fore armed. These
people need to be stopped."
