Namibian's Geingob arrives for ZITF

Namibian President Hage Geingob has arrived in Harare and is expected to officially open the 2017 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo on Friday.
Accompanied by the First Lady of Namibia, Monica Geingob, Geingob was received at the Harare International Airport by President Robert Mugabe, the First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe, Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko, several government officials, service chiefs and scores of Zimbabweans.
Upon arrival, President Geingob inspected a quarter guard mounted by the Presidential Guard before the singing of the two countries' national anthems.
During his state visit, President Geingob is expected to visit Kariba Hydro Project which is under construction.
President Geingob arrived just a few hours after the conclusion of the 8th Zimbabwe -Namibia Joint Permanent Commission where several cooperation agreements were sealed.
