A 42-year-old Hurungwe farmer was reportedly robbed of her $4000 yesterday (Thursday) at Tobacco Sales Floor (TSF) in Harare, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.
Loice Gore told Bulawayo24.com that she withdrew $4000 in four days and lost the whole amount.
"I do not know how my hard earned 4k was stolen yesterday.
I was withdrawing a maximum withdrawal of $1000 per day for four days only to lose it on the fourth day," said Gore.
However, she did not file a police report as she saw it as a waste of time.
"Filing a police report will be nothing but a waste of time because they are so many people here vendors, hookers robbers and us farmers. We cannot trust each other here so I just regard it as a loss," she said.
There is a hive of activities at TSF with vendors scattered everywhere and half dressed sex workers soliciting for clients the whole day.
