Mugabe sends condolences to Guinea-Bissau

Harare - President Robert Mugabe has sent his condolences to the people of Guinea-Bissau following the death of the country's president, Malam Bacai Sanha, on Monday.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of president Sanha, the government and the people of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau during this difficult period of mourning the death of their leader, president Sanha," Mugabe said in a statement.
Sanha died at the Val de Grace military hospital in Paris after being hospitalised for over a month.
He reportedly suffered from diabetes, according to German press agency dpa.
