Mthwakazi Republic Party spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo has said South Africa's Minister Fikile Mbalula's claims that Zimbabwean ex soldiers were contributing to a lot of crime in South Africa must not be taken at face value because even in Zimbabwe the soldiers and central intelligence organization officers have been responsible for heinous crimes which people know.

"I won't dismiss South African Minister of Police Fikile Mbalula's claims that Zimbabweans contributes a lot in crime activities in that country especially ex solders. The most feared people in Zimbabwean society are the Solders, CIO and ZRP. Fikile Mbalula said in Zimbabwe solders don't retire who can deny this?" Gumbo said.

"It is in Zimbabwe where I have had a saying that says once a solder always a solder. We have !ore than half of civil servants bosses who are ex state security chefs including the Zimbabwe cabinet led by solders and are all criminals and everyone have Evidence of that. So what makes you think those criminals once they cross to SA they repent?"

Gumbo said he will not be surprised if the Zimbabwe Ambassador to SA is a Solder or a former.

"The Army, CIO and ZRP are not suppose to be enemies of the people, they are suppose to be our security but in Zimbabwe the highest number of criminal activities and killing, maiming, raping, and fraud is done by our security chefs. If you think I am saying this because I am bitter over Gukurahundi then go to Manyikaland and ask them who stole their diamonds? who killed people? ask 2008 election victims who maimed them or killed their relatives?" he said.

"Then tell me what will stop these guys from using their evil skills to steal in SA?."
