IT'S my way or no way!
A woman from Bulawayo's Emganwini suburb has no peace in her life because her husband switches off lights, television and the stove anytime reminding her that it's his property.
Maritha Nyandoro Ncube will live to curse the day she tied the knot with Adolf Ncube since he has turned out to be a monster.
The woman has been left with no choice except to seek recourse at the courts as she can no longer stand having the stove switched off while she is busy cooking.
In her affidavit she stated that she was being emotionally abused by her husband who constantly reminded her that everything in the house was a result of his hard work.
"My husband is abusive and he comes home drunk telling me to pack my belongings and leave his house saying his children do not love me.
"He switches off lights, stove and television anytime telling me that it is his money," said the woman.
She even stated that Ncube leaves them to starve and takes his time to buy groceries telling them to work for themselves.
"He takes time to buy groceries and when I ask him to buy food, he always asks me how I survived before marriage and that I should work for myself," she said.
Ncube is also putting his step-daughter under pressure telling her that it is high time she gets married, something which does not go down well with his wife.
In his response, Ncube apologised and the presiding magistrate Tancy Dube recommended that they go for counselling.
