Boy (16) arrested for sexually harassing a donkey

IN a case of one clearly misdirecting their sexual desires, a 16-year-old boy from Mkoba 13 Suburb in Gweru was allegedly caught pants down in an act of bestiality with a donkey.
The boy (name withheld), appeared before Gweru Magistrate Ms Florence Nago on Wednesday last week facing charges of bestiality as defined in section 74 of the (Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act) Chapter 9:23.
Ms Nago did not ask the juvenile to plead and remanded him in custody of his guardian to 9 February for trail.
Presenting the state case the prosecutor, Mr Michael Mhene, said on 19 December 2011 at around 5pm at Mkoba Golf Course in Mkoba 4, the accused was seen by one Mr Rimment Moyo driving the donkey to a secluded place.
Mr Moyo is the owner of the animal and had gone to the golf course to look for his donkey. The court heard that when Moyo followed the juvenile to where he was taking the donkey he saw him pushing the donkey into a gulley before riding on its back.
The court further heard that after pushing the donkey into the gulley the accused started having sexual intercourse with the animal. An irate Moyo then rushed, grabbed the juvenile and dragged him to Mkoba 1 Police Station.
