e-services brings convenience to Zimra clients

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority has said its e-services portal which it deployed in 2015 has brought considerable convenience to clients as they can apply Tax clearance certificates online and carry out other Zimra -related processes remotely.
"The e-services portal, which ZIMRA deployed in 2015, has also brought considerable convenience to clients as they can apply for Tax Clearance Certificates online and carry out other ZIMRA-related processes remotely," Happias Kuzvinzwa, the Acting Commissioner General said.
"With the facility, clients can make online applications for Business Partner Numbers, and submit tax returns online. Ladies and Gentlemen, these strategies that ZIMRA implemented are beginning to bear fruit and our first quarter 2017 revenue collection figures are a testimony to the positive trajectory."
He said the Authority surpassed revenue targets for the first quarter of 2017 and he is sure the reports were published in all the newspapers.
"I am also very confident and positive that this year's revenue performance target will be met," he said.
