Browns Wholesalers sues Greatermans Stores for over $32 800

Browns Wholesalers (PVT) Limited has sued the Greatermans Stores (PVT) Limited  trading as Meikles Mega Mart for a debt amounting to $32 896, 59 being an amount due to plaintiff by defendant in respect of goods sold and delivered to the store.

Browns Wholesalers filed the summons at that Bulawayo high court on May 5 demanding the payment.

"The plaintiff's claim is for payment of $32 896, 59 being an amount due to plaintiff by defendant in respect goods sold and delivered by plaintiff to defendant 's specific  order and request, the breakdown of the amount claimed being outstanding  amount," reads the claim. "Interest should be paid as per prescribed rate of 5% per annum from May 1 2016 and costs of the suit."

Meikles is yet to respond to the summons.
