A man believed to be a pastor says he lost his source of income after being suspended from conducting church duties.
Owen Mangwiro opened up at the maintenance court where he was being sued by his wife Charity Mangwiro for neglecting the upkeep of their three minor children.
"Your Worship, I am offering US$90 for the three children.
"I am a full-time pastor and I was suspended from my duties so I have no other means of raising money," he said.
In response, Charity said:
"Your Worship, he is lying that he was suspended from his duties because he does not want to take care of the children.
"He is also into mining so he can raise the money besides he also has another wife and one child from his congregation."
The presiding magistrate ordered Owen to pay US$140 maintenance.
