A political analyst Pedzisai Ruhanya has said the Zimbabwe Electoral Commision must be taken to task over the limited number of voter registration points in Harare and Bulawayo which he said may disenfranchise the prospective voters.

He said Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) should be taken to task now to explain and address why Harare and Bulawayo will have 700 and less than 400 voter registration centers respectively especially Harare which has the largest number of eligible voters; don't buy the distance argument.

"More so, why should HARARE which has the highest number of eligible voters be give two weeks for the BVR registration process. ZEC should explain why

the issue of proof of residence to register is strict in urban areas than in rural areas? What is and who provides proof of residence in rural areas and why is it easy in rural areas than urban areas?," he said.

"Opposition should pull their technical socks up now before they are technically knocked out ahead of 2018. This opposition! Midlands, Masvingo double Manicaland, why???"
