TAKE your love and leave!

James Simbarewamwe (56) doesn't need it anymore but Nonhlanhla Khupe (38) whom he cohabited with for 11 years is allegedly failing to come to terms with the fact that their relationship has irretrievably broken down to an extent that there are no prospects for restoration.

As such, Simbarewamwe said Khupe vowed to fix him and called him a moving grave and told him that he would die soon.

"I cohabited with Nonhlanhla Khupe for 11 years and we have two minor children together. Our relationship ended in February this year and despite that breakdown the respondent is always coming to my house saying she wants us to reunite and live together.

"Whenever I tried to chase her out she turned violent and in the process she would insult me saying I am a moving grave and  will die soon," said Simbarewamwe.

He further said Khupe was also sending her brother to threaten him as punishment for dumping her.

Khupe, however, disputed her ex-lover's claims saying he was the one who was abusing her and that forced her to move out of his house.

"For the past 11 years we have been staying together James (Simbarewamwe) was harassing me. He is just bitter that I moved out of the house, the reason being that he was always threatening me with a kitchen knife.

"It is not true that I am pestering him because whenever I go to his place it will be in connection with the plight of the children he is not supporting. I do not have any problem if he does not want me to come to his place. He should not also come to my lodgings and workplace," charged Khupe.

In a bid to maintain peace between the two parties, presiding magistrate Sheunesu Matova, in his judgment ordered Khupe not to go to her ex-lover's place.
