One miner retrieved from collapsed mine

At least one miner has been retrieved at Masasa mine in Mazowe where ten are feared dead in mine collapse that occurred on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Jimmy Mafusire and machinery from Ashanti gold mine and Mazowe council is being used to retrieved the trapped miners.
Since yesterday only one person has been retrieved, Bulawayo24.com has seen a picture of the deceased which cannot be published for ethical reasons.
Cases of illegal mining are on the increase in Mazowe in September last year 7 people died after a mine collapsed at Gills farm in Concession, Mazowe district.
