Bulawayo firm sued for a debt of over $96 000

A Bulawayo firm Guru Holdings has been sued for a debt amounting to over $96 000.
Stanley Bruce Alfred Longhurst filed summons at the Bulawayo High Court suing Guru's Holdings (PVT) Ltd over a debt of $96 051, 76 being owed as balance for the purchase price of the shares and loan accounts in Daro (PVT Ltd which amount despite demand the firm has failed, refused or neglected to pay.
The plaintiff also demanded payment of interest at the rate prescribed with costs of suit.
In its founding declaration of the suit, the plaintiff submitted that on February 27 2012 the trustee at the time of the said Nyathi Buffalo Trust and on its behalf entered into inter alia a written agreement , whereby the said trust sold and the defendant purchased all the issue shares and loan account in Daro a company duly registered with limited liability, according to the laws of Zimbabwe for a total sum of $272 120 of which said sum $120 was in respect of the loan account and $272000 was the purchase price of the shares.
"The defendant has failed to make payment of the purchase price aforesaid," reads the declaration. The plaintiff said there remains a balance of $ 96051, 76
And prayed for the payment of the amount.
Guru Holdings is yet to respond to the summons.
