It is never too late to realise your dreams regardless of one's age.
Such was the story of women in Goromonzi South who had a rare opportunity to showcase their modelling talent at the constituency's arts and sports extravaganza held recently at Thornicroft Primary School in Harare.
While most people's dreams are fulfilled at a tender age, it was a dream come true for 3 Goromonzi women who never had a chance to walk down the ramp due to life's circumstances.
Their dream of becoming supermodels finally came true when accorded the opportunity of competing in the Goromonzi modelling contest dominated by youths.
Despite being in their 50s and 60s, the three women defied the odds, fulfilling the famous saying that goes 'Pamamonya Ipapo.'
For 65-year-old Rudo Mupfeki, it was more than just competing as she ended up being crowned Miss Personality.
While most women feel self-conscious about ageing, desperately trying to look younger, Rudo, Chenai and Esther proved that age does not stop anyone from accomplishing their dreams as it is only a number.
