Four suspected thieves are on the receiving end at Guruve police for denying the charge.
The four are Panashe Nhau, Lameck Kalunga, John Tahwa and Tahwa's wife.
Sources privy to the development allege the four are denying the charge hence are suffering at the hands of police brutality to accept and give evidence in court.
"The suspects are denying the charge but the police will have none of that as they are thrashing them.
"You can hear them wailing in loud lamentation which is a clear indication that they are being brutalised," said the source.
However, it is not constitutional for the police brutalise suspects and most of the suspects will just accept the charge and take a dynamic shift in court by denying the charges.
