Woman cries rape as boyfriend dumps her

AN ADULT MAN is being blackmailed by his former girlfriend that he should continue loving her or else she will have him arrested for rape.
Arnold Chawora said he is living in fear of his former girlfriend Hilda Chengeta after she threatened to press false rape charges against him.
Arnold bared it all at the Harare civil court where he was seeking a protection order against Hilda.
"She is forcing me to love her, and I am now living in fear of being arrested because she said that if I don't agree to go out with her, she will report me to the police that I once raped her," said Arnold.
He went on to tell the court that Hilda was coming at his place of residence harassing people.
"After I broke up with this woman last year in October, she has been insulting my parents and everyone at home.
"She recently took away my cellphone and never returned it," he said.
Responding to the matter, Hilda said:
"It is true that he raped me because on several times when I felt like not having sex, he would force himself on me.
"The last time he raped me was last Wednesday" she said.
Hilda also said that Arnold cheated her with another woman.
Magistrate Renikah Dzikiti, who presided over the case, granted the reciprocal protection order which states that both parties were to maintain peace towards each other.
