Hit and run motorist finally arrested

A motorist who allegedly hit and run a senior citizen in Guruve at 59 kilometre peg along Mvurwi -Kanyemba highway on Saturday was finally arrested.
Spiwe Nduku (31) was arraigned to Guruve magistrate court following the death of Kasuwo Chinduko (74) who died on the spot in a traffic accident.
According to state papers Nduku pleaded guilty to the police but took shifted goal post in court after her relatives hired a lawyer to represent her.
Meanwhile, the accused has been remanded in custody to 9 June for continuation of trial.
It emerged in court that the deceased was coming from the National FM road show held at Guruve growth point on the fateful day.
