The suspended Prosecutor General, Johannes Tomana has been fired.
The decision was published in the government gazette today.
Mr Tomana has been fired for incompetence and misconduct following recommendations from the tribunal report which advised President Robert Mugabe to remove him from office.
The decision was made in terms of section 187 sub-section 8 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.
