Funeral policy for traditional leaders launched

A funeral cover for traditional leaders in Chipinge South constituency has been launched with the local legislator paying premiums for 180 headmen and village heads.
While launching the funeral cover in the constituency, legislator Enoch Porusingazi says all traditional leaders need decent burials that reflect their position in society.
Cde Porusingazi says he will pay all premiums that will not only cover 180 traditional leaders in his constituency, but also cater for their spouses as well.
Chief Garahwa and other traditional leaders in the constituency say they are humbled by the positive gesture that recognises their importance in society.
The local legislator says he hopes to extend the scheme to party leaders in his constituency saying there is need to move with the times.
