Kombi knocks down pedestrian on pavement

A Mushika Shika kombi allegedly hit a pedestrian at TM Bindura this afternoon whilst trying to avoid council officers who were moving around the city.
Eye witnesses allege the driver of the kombi panicked and ended up hitting a pedestrian who was walking on the pavement.
"The Mushika Shika driver panicked and hit a pedestrian in the pavement promoting the council officers to camp his kombi after the accident.
"The victim who is in his late 20s has been seriously injured and ferried to Bindura hospital," said the source.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Petros Masikati could neither confirm or deny the case.
"I am in a meeting at the moment call me latter," he said
