Lorry rams into house

A senior citizen was lucky to escape unhurt after a 7-tonne lorry rammed into her Banket house and parked itself in the lounge.
Gogo Ruth Masamba of Banket is counting hers blessings after an unusual visitor a 7-tonne truck found itself in her lounge.
Gogo Masamba says the incident struck 5 minutes after she had left the lounge to get a jersey from another room only for her to hear a loud bang and discover a truck had rammed into her lounge.
An eye witness Eudokia Juziwell narrated how the driver lost control of the lorry which is said to have been on a test drive and veered into the house's lounge, collapsing the front pillar.
The owner of the lorry is said to have since agreed to make the necessary repairs to the house.
