A woman of questionable sanity caused commotion at the Harare civil court when she was sued by two men for threatening to kill them.

Tsitsi Katongomara shouted in court going straight to the magistrate's chair.

"Is this a court I am looking for baba Simba, magistrate is baba Simba in here.

"I saw people outside and did not know they are waiting to come inside.

"I just want people to laugh why everyone in this court is so moody.

"I can see baba Simba is here. I want my money from him," she shouted.

Magistrate Amanda Muridzo instructed an officer to take her into his custody.

This took place when Tsitsi Katongomara was being accused by Edward Madya of insulting him using obscene language and threatening to kill him and hi child.

Madya was seeking for peace order indicating that he cannot live in peace because of the abuse.

He said:

"She insults me using obscene language that I am even shy to say in this court.

"She is claiming money from me because I hit her precast wall but I repaired it but she has been threatening me with death.

"We are neighbours and I am now scared because she always harasses me even in front of my children.

"I just do not want her to threaten me with death."

In response, Katongomara agreed that she insulted Madya and was arrested but justified her actions saying it was only because she wanted her money for the precast wall that was damaged.

She also agreed that Madya repaired the precast wall but she did not like the material used.

"I indeed insulted him and I was arrested the police warned me but I will not stop till he pays me US$200.

"I would rather get arrested than to let him do whatever he likes, he should just demolish that precast wall because I do not like the material he used."

On the second application Katongomara was being accused by Author Marongwe who was also seeking for peace order indicating that he is being threatened with death.

He also added that Katongomara said she will only stop if some is dead.

"I am now living in fear of this woman she is violent.

"She insults me using bad language in front of my children.

"She is just a neighbour but she has a lot of problems.

"She is threatening me and my family with death and she said she will stop when someone is dead," he said.

However, Katongomara said she had no problems if the application is granted indicating that she only insults him because he is Madya's friend.

"He was there when Madya damaged my precast wall.

"I insult him but only because he is a friend to my enemy," she said.

Presiding magistrate Amanda Muridzo granted Madya and Marongwe peace order they sought.
