Khama Billiat's father defaults maintenance

Khama Billiat's father, Mustaff, faces six months jail if he fails to pay US$900 before August 1 as maintenance for his child.
Mustaff Billiat failed to comply with the court order between September 2016 and May this year.
The 53-year-old man appeared before Mbare magistrate Tafadzwa Miti charged with maintenance default.
He was sentenced to six months in prison, which were wholly suspended on condition he clears the arrears of US$900 to the complainant Cynthia Jordan before August 1.
Circumstances are that on January 19 in 2015 Mustaff Billiat was ordered to pay US$100 per month maintenance for his minor child.
He is in arrears of US$900.
