Three cops arrested while trying to buy beer using counterfeit $5 bond note

Three Zimbabwe Republic Police cops were arrested in Masvingo after producing a counterfeit $5 bond in a bid to buy beer at Makododo bar in Zaka.
Sources privy to the development allege Gift Mwenjemu (29), Vimbai Mukundwa (23) and Walter Komboni (27 ) entered the bar last Saturday night and tried to buy with a fake $5 bond note.
"The three policemen were travelling in an unregistered grey Toyota Wish on 15 July when they entered in a local bar and produced fake $5 bond to Portia Madondo (24) the bar lady.
"The bar lady quickly noticed the fake money and ordered the security at the bar to close doors.
"Having noticed the unregistered car being used by the cops the bar lady rushed to Zaka station where she filed a police report," revealed the source.
Meanwhile, the car was searched and nothing of criminal nature was found except police books.
