A city man said his sister-in-law sprinkles salt in the toilet so as to scare him away from using it.
This was heard at the Harare civil court where Shamiso Jichichi was seeking for protection order against Andrew Musvaire accusing him of assaulting and insulting her.
"He is my husband's older brother and we share the same stand but he comes to my house assaulting me.
"I once sprinkled salt in my toilet and they started labelling me a witch.
"I also have problems with his wife because they gang up to insult me.
"He should just leave us alone, because at the moment we are not in good books. They should also build their own toilet.
In response Musvaire said,
"She is lying I have never harassed her she is actually causing problems between me and my brother.
"I bought the stand with my brother but now she is influencing him to stop me from using the toilet.
"She is the one who actually assaulted my wife.
"We should just stay in peace as a family but because of her it is becoming difficult."
Presiding magistrate Amanda Muridzo granted the peace order in Jichichi's favour.
