Cop bashes boss

A Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officer from Masvingo allegedly assaulted his boss on Tuesday evening.
Sources close to investigations allege Constable Chipote from Masvingo rural offered Superintendent Lawrence Zhou together with other passengers a lift.
Chipote was going towards Nyika and other passengers disembarked leaving Zhou who was occupying the front seat.
"The suspect was quoted saying hesi Lawrence Zhou ndaikutsvaga pese apa nhasi ndakuwana I want to beat you up and you can take any legal action after wards.
"Chipote reportedly assaulted Zhou with clenched fists and he sustained a swollen face," revealed the source.
Zhou was then dumped along with his satchel and watch, which he could not locate afterwards.
The matter was reported at Masvingo rural and the suspect is at large.
Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed the case.
