Mugabes not just a global embarrassment for Zimbabweans, But a huge security risk

MDC led by Welshman Ncube has said the latest stunt pulled by the First Lady Grace Mugabe where she assaulted a young woman in South Africa alleged to be her son's girlfriend shows the extent to which the Mugabes have become not just a global embarrassment for Zimbabweans but a huge security risk.

Party spokesperson Kurauone Chihwayi said the thuggish behavior exhibited by the First lady in beating up the defenseless young woman is a shocking act of lawlessness unbecoming of a so called mother of the nation, a position that is supposed to hold so much dignity, humility and inspiration.

"We view her actions as a gross affront to human dignity and we condemn them unreservedly. We commend the South African government for acting swiftly on the matter and we urge them to allow the law to take its full course," he said.

"The First Lady must be reminded that some countries actually uphold the rule of law and she cannot do as she pleases and get away with it, as she does in Zimbabwe. It is obvious that being a dictator's wife has got into her head, whereby she thinks she can export lawlessness with impunity to other countries."
