Man steals phone after sex

A 20-YEAR-OLD builder has been arrested after he stole a cellphone from a self-confessed hooker he had hired for a one-night stand. Wellington Kanda of House No. 19528 Unit E was arraigned to court after he stole Precious Sakaira's cellphone after a night of sex romps.
The 32-year-old woman, stays at House No. 4298 Shambare Road in Unit D. Prosecutor Tafadzwa Makwande had it that sometime in May last year, Wellington Kanda met Precious at Tafadzwa Beerhall in Unit D Chitungwiza.
Wellington then proposed to the 32-year-old woman before they agreed to put up at her house.
The court heard that the two went to Precious' house where they had sex for the greater part of the night.
Despite getting sexual favours, Wellington allegedly stole Precious' Nokia 70 valued at US$100.
Prosecutor Makwande also said that Precious discovered that her cellphone was missing when she woke up the following morning.
She then lodged a complaint with the police leading to his arrest.
Wellington denied the charge when he appeared before magistrate Chitungwiza magistrate Adonia Masawi arguing that Precious wanted to fix him.
He will know his fate this week when magistrate Masawi is expected to make a judgment.
