Teacher dies after drinking musombodhiya

A primary teacher in Bindura is reported to have died after taking too much illicit beer known as musombodhiya yesterday at a local bar.
Sources privy to the development allege the teacher was drinking since morning and fell around 23: 00 hours in Philmates bar before being rushed to Bindura hospital.
"A Chipadze primary teacher allegedly took too much musombodhiya yesterday since morning at a bar.
"He fell around 23:00 hours though many patrons suspected his falling to drunkenness, one of them just opted to carry him to hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival," said the source.
Although Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe could not be reached for comment sources within the force confirmed the case.
"We have a case of sudden death and investigations are still in progress.'
