Nkosana Moyo misguided

A political commentator Vince Musewe has said the 2018 presidential aspirant Nkosana Moyo is misguided by thinking that he can just wrestle power from President Robert Mugabe and Zanu PF as easy as he seem to believe.
Musewe said it is saddening when an allegedly intelligent man does not seem to comprehend the political emotional capital of Zimbabwe voters and the fact that freedom of choice of best political actors has for years been actively circumvented by Zanu Pf to create an unfair advantage for them. We need reforms first to facilitate fair competition
"His trashing of coalitions and the need for a united front against tyranny indicates to me a man who does not understand the game he has chosen to play," he said.
"Firstly nobody has ever insinuated that Zimbabweans are not mentally able to choose a leader of their choice! That's what we all desire."
He said the fact of the matter is that the electoral environment has for years deliberately stifled that ability.
"Hence the need for reforms. The fight for electoral reforms is to exactly create an environment where anyone can compete for political office based on competition and what they have to offer. We are simply not there yet and that fight must include all of us who want change! There is nothing wrong therefore to coalesce around it," he said.
"Secondly a coalition simply proposes that we make more efficient use of resources both human and financial. Elections are a costly business and will always favour those with a big budget. Why have 52 political parties if we can reduce that combine resources and effort make it easier and maximise the little resources available? Why should we have 52 MPs competing in one constituency for one seat if we can reduce that and thereby increase the chances of an opposition win in that constituency. That's simple maths!"
He said third multiple presidential candidates will split the Presidential vote and thus increase the chances of Zanu PF winning once more.
"By reducing contestants we are increasing the chances of an opposition President winning. Gosh. Even a grade 2 child understands that!," he said.
