Car plunges into river, 3-year-old child dies

A three-year-old child died on the spot when a Honda Fit hit a pillar before 'flying' into a river in Bindura on Sunday.

Eye witnesses claim a family was travelling from Bindura and the driver lost control before the car plunged into a river.
"The Honda Fit was coming from Bindura with three passengers purportedly a family, a minor died on the spot while a woman and a male adult were injured," said the source.
A cyclist is reported to have cheated death after the car flew above of him.
"I escaped death by a whisker as l saw this Honda Fit flying on top of me into a river, l am so lucky to be alive in this fatal accident," he said.
