A ZVISHAVANE businesswoman was left with no choice but to put her marriage on the line as she was being haunted by her love-crazed boyfriend who did not want to be dumped.
After having had enough from her boyfriend, though fearing for her marriage, she took the risk and dragged the man to court and red-carded him in public.
Ongai Nyabvure was in an extra-marital relationship with Noble Maphosa and her numerous efforts to dump the man hit a brick wall as he continued following her.
Nyabvure then realised that the only way out of the relationship was dragging her boyfriend to court and dumping him in public.
"I am a married woman and Maphosa used to be my boyfriend and he is refusing to part ways with me.
"I do not love him anymore and I have told him a number of times, but he keeps phoning and stalking me," she said in court.
She also asked for a protection order against him so that he stops communicating with her or threatening her friends.
She also revealed that she did not have peace in her life as the man at one time broke her house windows.
In his response, Maphosa accepted to stay away from Nyabvure saying there was nothing he could do if she had indeed fallen out of love.
However, he revealed that the reason he was clinging on to her was because Nyabvure had forced him to dump girlfriends his age and he had become a lonely man because of her.
The order was granted in favour of Nyabvure.
