Harare: A group of city parking officials along Central Avenue and Third Street in Harare were today captured unclamping vehicles which had been clamped by an EasyPark official because the cars belonged to a relative of one of the cops, while another man paid a $3 USD bribe to secure release of his vehicle despite owing City of Harare $27 USD in parking fees.
A supervisor present at the scene then proceeded to defend the actions, telling a motorist who raised concern about the matter that "he should pay his own parking fees and mind his own business". The supervisor then defended the illegal and corrupt activities of his subordinates stating that "they are my subordinates and i will protect them".
