A South African court in Pretoria on Tuesday heard deliberations from a Zimbabwean lawyer representing the Zimbabwe Embassy, which wants to be involved in First Lady Grace Mugabe's case involving model Gabriella Engels.

According to Timeslive, Simba Chitando opposed an application filed by AfriForum, acting on behalf of Engels, seeking the inclusion of President Robert Mugabe in the case in which Engels claims that she was assaulted by Mrs. Mugabe, who found her socializing with her two sons, Robert Junior and Chatunga.

AfriForum says the inclusion of President Mugabe in the case will ensure that they deliver summons accordingly as the president is a well-known person.

But Chitando, reports Timeslive, challenged this move saying it is unconventional.

AfriForum wants the court to review and declare as null and void a decision by the South African government to grant diplomatic immunity to Mrs. Mugabe.

The Zimbabwean first lady claims that she was attacked by Engels when she found her "stoned" while in the presence of her sons.

Engels has dismissed these utterances as a big lie.
