AFTER sleepless nights searching for his wife, a Nkulumane man found her working as a prostitute.
Following the story that was carried out last week by this publication, sources privy to information relating to the whereabouts of Shupikai Sibanda exposed her.
It was discovered that she had dumped her husband of six years Trymore Makoni and children to stay with prostitutes at a certain house in Cowdray Park.
"The whole family was worried about her whereabouts and we looked for her everywhere. I have informed elders and her parents about everything, that means I will have to raise the children alone since she still wants to enjoy life," Makoni confirmed.
Her mother is also shocked.
"Shupikai is my daughter and her behaviour is really shocking," she said.
Makoni said he accepts life's fate and he won't go after her.
Reports are that Sibanda left her matrimonial home early in August when her husband was at work, leaving the children, including a two-year-old alone.
Worried about his wife, Makoni enlisted the services of the police, relatives and church members to look for her, but to no avail.
After getting information about Shupikai's whereabouts, Makoni informed his in-laws who then gave him blessings to marry another woman.
It also came out that sometime last year Sibanda's husband caught her red-handed with a boyfriend who later revealed that she had lied to him saying she was Makoni's domestic worker.
Repeated efforts to get a comment from Shupikai were fruitless.
