FORMER national healing minister, Moses Mzila Ndlovu, the leader of the pro-Matebeleland National Alliance for National Salvation (ANSA), slammed Morgan Tsvangirai of MDC-T of attempts to replicate tribal tendencies by Mugabe.
Mzila Ndlovu accused Tsvangirai of mimicking President Mugabe's tribal tendencies.
"The Alliance for National Salvation (ANSA) is on record as having objected profusely to the mischief of the MDC-T leader and his disturbing lack of understanding of what accounts for healthy ethnic relations in a multi-ethnic society," he said.
He was referring to statements by the former prime Minister at the launch of the MDC Alliance in Bulawayo recently.
Tsvangirai scorned his Matebeleland allies within his party who have resisted plans to forge a multi-party opposition alliance against Zanu-PF in next year's elections.
Mzila want parties to segment into strong regional groupings that would give it stamina to resist tribal victimisation by President Robert Mugabe.
The outspoken Mzila said Mujuru was spot on in her claims that President Mugabe harboured a plot to visit genocide on Karangas in Masvingo and Midlands who have resisted his perceived plans to anoint Grace Mugabe as successor.
The two provinces are strongholds for Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, a Karanga who has unsettled the first couple through exhibiting unbridled ambition to succeed the 93 year old leader.
President Mugabe has never hidden his frustrations with the two provinces he accuses of harbouring individuals with tribal inclinations.
President Mugabe has often been accused of having strong hatred for Ndebeles who form a big majority of citizens massacred during the 1980s genocide in the country's western provinces.
An estimated 20 000 civilians were killed during the bloody period.
