A Zanu PF activist in Zaka Central ward 19 recently reportedly frightened the villagers during a meeting to conduct Biometric voter registration education when he claimed that the process will enable his party to monitor the patterns of voting in the 2018 elections.
Heal Zimbabwe reported that Zanu PF District Chairman, David Kumutsana intimidated community members during a community meeting conducted on the 20th of September 2017 at Mutamba Primary School.
"Kumutsana highlighted that the BVR process will assist Zanu PF to monitor voting patterns and threatened violence on those who shall choose to vote for the opposition," said the trust.
Zimbabwe Electoral Commission is currently embarked on voter registration process which will end in January 2018.
