Man loses wife, tooth to friend

A TOOTH plus your wife!
Edmore Nyamazana of Jaridhe Village under Chief Chiwundura was beaten up by his friend Nyasha Muzila whom he found in a compromising position with his wife.
For walking in on his cheating wife Nyamazana lost a tooth. He had been monitoring the two for a while and on the day in question he lied about his whereabouts only to get home and shock the undercover lovers.
As the two friends got into a scuffle the wife fled from the scene and Nyamazana got a beating that left him without a tooth after a brick landed on his mouth.
A police report was made and Muzila has since appeared before Gweru magistrate Ms Judith Taruvinga.
Before passing judgment on Muzila who pleaded guilty, the magistrate castigated him for his actions.
"Your moral blameworthiness is very high. You are a dishonest person who betrayed his friend by taking his wife.
You took advantage of the trust your friend had in you and instead of respecting their marriage you decided to take his wife for your own personal satisfaction," she said.
Prosecutor Ernest Muzembi told the court that on August 6 the complainant Nyamazana received a tip-off that his wife (name not given) was having an affair with Muzila — his friend.
"Around 8pm on the day the complainant arrived at his homestead unannounced where he found Muzila in bed with his wife. Muzila attacked the complainant and choked him," said Muzembi.
The court heard that Muzila further assaulted Nyamazana with clenched fists before hitting him with a brick on the mouth before running away.
Muzila was fined $100 and in default of payment 30 days imprisonment.
