Trio who bashed man over prostitute remanded in custody

Three attempted murder suspects who allegedly bashed a man to death in Mvurwi over a prostitute have been remanded in custody by Bindura magistrate.
The trio, JaneJijima (61), Oliver Nyabeza (33) and Oscar Manyika (21) pleaded not guilty.
Bindura magistrate Nickson Mangoti remanded them to 10 October.
According to the public prosecutor Clemence Kuwanda, the trio allegedly bashed Nigel (Nyonyinyo) Barara (21) on the 18th of September around mid night.
Barara is currently battling for life at Parirenyatwa hospital.
A medical report was presented in court and taken as exhibit number one.
The medical report indicated that Barara sustained a swollen head and bruises all over his face.
