After the hullabaloo that surrounded her eventual non-attendance of the Harare International Carnival after the Government raised a red flag over her lewd behaviour during performances, controversial South African socialite Zodwa Wabantu might accompany DJ Tira on his visit to Zimbabwe next weekend.
Friday the 13th promises to be a night to remember, with DJ Tira expected to set Club Connect ablaze in what would be his first appearance in the City of Kings since the Kalawa Homecoming of 2015.
However, all eyes will be on who Durban's finest will bring for his latest visit to Bulawayo, with speculation rife that besides his luggage Tira would also bring Zodwa along with him.
Since Zodwa's emergence on the scene, the two have struck an impressive partnership, sending revellers wild in South Africa and beyond through Tira's skills on the decks and Zodwa's trademark vosho dance moves.
The event organisers could only confirm Tira's attendance and were coy about Zodwa.
"Yes, Tira will be coming but we have little idea about Zodwa. If she wants to tag along she would be more than welcome. Zimbabwe is a second home for her and Club Connect and our sister franchises always love having her around. What stands as confirmed is DJ Tira who will no doubt give a scintillating performance," said a spokesperson for Devine Assignments which will be hosting the event.
It thus remains to be seen whether the veteran DJ and renowned party starter will bring his fellow Durbanite and fellow partner in crime.
