Mnangagwa booted out of Mugabe's cabinet

President Mugabe has dropped Patrick Chinamasa as Finance and Economic Development minister, reassigning him to a newly created portfolio; Cyber Security, Threat and Mitigation.
Simon Khaya Moyo is the new minister of Media, Information and Broadcasting services while Dr Chris Mushohwe has been reassigned to Minister of State in the President's Office responsible for National Scholarships.
Prisca Mupfumira and Tshinga Dube who led the Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare and Welfare Services for War Veterans were completely dropped from the cabinet.
In a statement, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr. Misheck Sibanda announced that Dr Ignatius Chombo is now the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Walter Mzembi Foreign Affairs, Obert Mpofu Home Affairs while Samuel Mumbengegwi is now Minister of Macro-Economic Planning and Investment Promotion.
Patrick Zhuwao replaced Mupfumira while Saviour Kasukuwere gets an additional portfolio of Rural Development on his current ministry. The Minister of Sport remains Makhosini Hlongwane.
New appointments include:
Edgar Mbwembwe - Minister of Tourism, Environment and Hospitality Industry
Major General (rtd) Happyton Bonyongwe - Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs
Cain Mathema - Minister of Welfare Services for War Veterans, Collaborators and Former Political Detainees.
Chiratidzo Mabuwa - Minister of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Economic Development
Ambassador Maboyi Ncube - Minister of State for Matabeleland South Province
Thokozile Mathuthu - Minister of State for Matabeleland North Province
Webster Shamu – Minister of State for Mashonaland West
Dr Paul Chimedza – Minister of State for Masvingo Province
