MDC official Discent Bajila has said Patrick Chinamasa who was Finance and Economic development minister was not demoted when President Robert Mugabe removed him from the portfolio to assign him to be minister of Cyber Security threats detection.
"In essence Patrick Chinamasa was not demoted. He is in all intents and purposes a Bond Minister of State Security whose value compared to that of Sydney Sekeramayi is 1:1. He might appreciate in value," he said.
"Those who follow events will remember that recently Mugabe had to travel to South Africa to discuss amongst other things how the two countries could work together in matters of cyber security."
Bajila said there is something Mugabe knows which he couldn't tell Jacob Zuma over a phone call or through an Ambassador or Minister.
"Moving swiftly after that to establish a full ministry out of a department in the ministry of State security proves that indeed there is more than meets the eye. How about deploying the workhorse of the animal farm?" he said.
