Veld fire destroys hectares of land in Guruve

A veld fire destroyed hectares of land in Guruve area on Thursday (yesterday).
The Mashonaland Central Environment Management Agency (EMA) manager Mr Robert Rwafa said he is yet to receive the report since they currently do not an officer in Guruve.
"We are yet to receive that report because we do not have an officer there currently.
"Thank you so much we are going to make a follow up to that, "he said.
He added that there is an increase in veld fires this season.
It is still not known how the fire started.
