HARARE West legislator Jessie Fungayi Majome said she has just contacted council about the Haig Park water situation, where the suburb has endured dry taps.
She said the council has promised that water will be coming to the suburb.
"This water cut is said to have been caused by a decrease in pumping capacity at Morton Jaffray waterworks. As always I encourage you to engage council directly on local government service delivery on 04305238/42," she said.
"On a happier note ZESA was restored in Cotswold Hills and Ashdown Park. I had spoken to ZETDC Mabelreign in the afternoon who assured me that electricity will be reconnected. The power cut was caused by our very bad friends the transformer oil thieves. Please report ZESA faults to ZETDC Mabelreign on 04310378. "
